100 Words – A short time ago I was asked to write a story with only 100 words. I set out to be as concise as possible (so I thought). My first try took 153 words! After a couple of iterations, I ended up at 92 words. So here’s an idea. If you are long winded like I am, take a business letter or email you have written and see how many “extra” words you can cut out of it. With a little practice your writing will become more concise (and more people may actually read it). And you can use the extra words in the novel you’ve always wanted to write.
